Project Description

Uncharted Ministries – Syrian Widows and Orphans

100x’s Harvest is generously funding three impactful initiatives in some of the most dangerous places in the world-Afghanistan, Syria, and Ukraine. Lives are being transformed for Christ amid a Taliban government takeover in Afghanistan, the economic and political collapse of Syria, and the brutal war in Ukraine.

There is harsh persecution of Christians in Afghanistan and Syria which is why so much of what is happening with the gospel is facilitated by the underground church and in Ukraine, pastors and Christian leaders are overwhelmed by the needs of their suffering people.

But as the Apostle Paul said: “And because I preach the Good News, I am suffering and have been chained like a criminal. But the word of God cannot be chained.” II Tim 2:9 NLT

Syrian Widows and Orphans

Our Syrian National Director shares this update:

“2022 was big year for ministry and full of blessings and growing, here are some of the blessings, I would like to share with you:

We saw over 80 new believers baptized and they came from Sunni Muslims, Shia Muslims, Ishmaelites, Druze’ and Alawites. This is a dream come true to see Jesus save so many in Syria! Many more became believers and will be baptized in the future. As a team, we faced many challenges and several threats to us personally and even death threats. But God protected us!”

“No one from our team was thrown in jail or injured seriously or killed. Our graveyard is still empty.”

Widows Ministry

“Thanks to 100x’s Harvest we can stand financially with the many widows and help them adjust to life without their husband. Spiritually we can lead them, and they are gaining strength to serve in ministry with our team.

“We now have 9 women’s meetings throughout Syria each week and widows are involved in all of them! Some women are even opening their homes to plant a church. There are several meetings that will become churches in Homs, the Christian Valley Villages, Tartous, and Safita which is a new city of ministry for us.

“The most important event for the Widows Ministry was the retreat we had for them in Marmarita. There were between 80-90 women and most of them had lost their husbands and other family members in the 10-year Syrian War.

“God used the teaching from Pastor Ziad of Jordan and the ministry of women on our team to bring great encouragement and strength to them. The one-on-one prayer time with the widows was the most important part of the meeting and such a powerful time.”

“We are ministering to over 2,500 children now and most of them are from a Muslim background! We also have 500 Alawite children, 350 Druze, 300 Alawites. Many of the children are of the Hopeless Generation who are victims of the war, and they are homeless, on the streets or in shelters.

“It is heartbreaking to work with them and we wanted to put all the children together with both the homeless ones and those who live with their parents. But unfortunately, the smell of the children who live on the streets is overpowering and we just cannot put the two groups together. We let them clean up as best as we can when they are meeting with us in the churches. Recently, we held a conference for the children and over 1000 different children came over 4 days. Many of them made commitments to Jesus!

“Thank you so much for being part of this with us. You are such a blessing to us!

I also want you to know the Dosch family and 100x’s Harvest are always in our prayers.

We love you in Jesus, Daniel Razzouk”

2 Corinthians 9:8 – And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work”.
